During October 2007, VAM Drilling organized a VAM School assessment and training session with Weatherford operations in Vitoria, Brazil. The assessment was focused on the optimization and maintenance procedures for Drill Pipe Riser (DRP) with WO-SR connection type that Weatherford has been operating for Petrobras since 2000. The training session covered running and inspection procedures for a VAM Riser high pressure metal to metal seal connection (WO-HP) that Weatherford and Petrobras will operate in deep subsea wells completion and workover.
