Drill pipe that has been broken-in properly lasts longer. Factory make-up / break-out of VAM Drilling tool joints provides excellent insurance against damage to drill pipe connections. It saves crew time…and money. The VAM Drilling factory make-up / break-out for a typical 15,000-foot drillstring (about 500 joints) will result in savings of about 83 hours of rig time.

VAM Drilling’s make-up / break-out service is performed uniformly using the same procedure for each joint of pipe, thus avoiding material handling mishaps and the potential variability of procedures by different rig crews.
